Zuari Agro Chemicals reports net profit of Rs 147.19 crore in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 44.16% to Rs 1487.43 crore

Net profit of Zuari Agro Chemicals reported to Rs 147.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 6.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 44.16% to Rs 1487.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1031.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.99% to Rs 26.16 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 24.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 1.17% to Rs 5175.90 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 5237.41 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
