At least 10 people were killed and 34 injured, three of them critically, after a bus hit a heavily-loaded truck on an expressway in China's Anhui province Friday, authorities said.
The incident occurred early morning when the bus, carrying 53 people from Shanghai to Yingshang County in Anhui, hit the truck loaded with bricks, on Hefei-Huainan Expressway, Xinhua reported.
Police said the coach was travelling illegally, as coaches are not allowed to provide long-distance passenger services on expressways between 2.00 and 5 a.m. to prevent severe road accidents.
