At least 10 people were killed and more than 20 wounded in two suicide car bomb attacks in Baghdad on Saturday, police said.
The first attack took place at the crowded entrance of the holy Shia district of Kadhmiyah in northern Baghdad, when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives-laden car, Xinhua reported.
Shortly after, another suicide bomber blew up his car bomb some 50 metres away from the first blast site.
Ambulances, police as well as civilian vehicles evacuated the injured to hospitals.
Several cars caught fire while many were damaged in the blasts.
