At least 14 people, including 11 women, were killed and 15 others injured on Saturday when a van collided with a stationary truck in Rajasthan's Pratapgarh district.
"The incident occurred at Barol village in the district around 7.30 p.m. A pickup van was carrying some labourers from surrounding villages. While crossing a ghat section, it collided with a standing truck from behind," a police officer told IANS.
He said injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
The officer said the death toll was likely to go up as medical condition of 4-5 people were critical and they were rushed to Udaipur for better treatment.
