At least 21 people were killed on Friday after two boats capsized off the coast of the Greek islands of Kalymnos and Rhodes in the Aegean Sea.
A wooden boat carrying more than 100 people sank in the sea off the islands of Kalymnos and Kalolimnos, while the other sank north of Rhodes, EFE news reported.
A total of 144 people were rescued, but the Greek coast guard was not able to establish how many were missing.
The rescue operations involved four boats of the Greek coast guard, a helicopter and several fishing boats.
