At least 24 people were killed in a bus an car collision in Mexico's Puebla state, authorities have said.
The accident, in which a passenger bus collided with a car, also left 10 others injured, Xinhua quoted the authorities as saying on Monday.
The bus had left Poza Rica city in Veracruz state, and headed toward the capital Mexico city with mainly students on board.
"The toll of the accident was 24 deaths and 10 injured," Veracruz Governor Javier Duarte posted on Twitter, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims.
The exact number of passengers in the bus or the car was not confirmed yet, the authorities said.
