This is the second instance of inmates escaping from the juvenile home in the last 15 months.
In February 2015, 91 inmates escaped, using bedsheets to make a rope which they used to jump across the kitchen wall.
The institution was also in news in December 2014 when a police person died there during a major fight between the inmates. The police had then booked 125 of the inmates under serious charges.
