A three-year-old boy was crushed to death by an e-rickshaw in northeast Delhi's Mansarovar Park area, the police said on Thursday.
The child has been identified as Prince, son of Arvind, a resident of Ashok Nagar area of the northeast Delhi.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday around 5 p.m. when Prince was taken by his father to a pizza shop. He was hit by an e-rickshaw when they were crossing the road. The e-rickshaw hit the child from behind and fled from the spot.
The boy was then rushed to the G.T.B. Hospital, where he was declared brought dead, the police said.
"We have registered a case against the driver of the e-rickshaw," a senior police officer told IANS.
"We are also trying to find out the driver of the red coloured e-rickshaw, who fled from the spot," the officer added.

The police is also looking for CCTV footage of the area to identify the driver and e-rickshaw, police added.
