Fog in Delhi on Monday morning led to the cancellation of 26 Delhi-bound trains and delay of another 50, a railway official said. The timings of 15 trains was rescheduled.
Flight operations, however, remained unaffected.
"A total of 26 Delhi-bound trains were cancelled and 50 others delayed due to bad weather," a Northern Railway official said.
A cold day was recorded in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled at 18.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
Monday's minimum was 6.4 degrees, a notch below the season's average while the maximum humidity was 97 percent.

The weather office forecast a partly cloudy weather and dense fog on Tuesday morning.
"There will be dense fog in the morning and forenoon at several places while the sky may be partly cloudy throughout the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital are likely to hover around 20 and 7 degrees respectively.
