As many as 80 new vehicles will be launched and over 1,500 suppliers showcase technologies at the 13th edition of the Auto Expo 2016 scheduled to be held here and Great Noida next month, said the event organisers.
"Auto Expo has seen a tenfold growth from 152 exhibitors to 1,580 exhibitors in 2016, which is phenomenal over a period of 30 years. The show has been growing from strength to strength," said CII director general Chandrajit Banerjee in a statement.
Industry chamber Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is one of the organisers along with the Auto Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
The expo will comprise a components show, scheduled from February 4-7 at Pragati Maidan here, and a motor show February 5 - 9 is scheduled at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
The motor show will occupy 73,000 square metres gross indoor exhibition space while the components show is spread over 80,000 square metres.
Over 900 Indian companies and 600 international exhibitors will showcase products in the components show, where international pavilions have been arranged for China, Canada, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and britain.

"With a view to encourage an innovation driven mind-set amongst the youth, 'Passion for innovation' - a contest for engineering students, is also being organized on the sidelines of the event," the statement said.
"Auto Expo has conventionally been one of the most sought-after platforms for the automobile industry. We believe that Auto Expo gives the much needed thrust to the industry in totality and ensures that the participating brands get noticed at a global level," said SIAM president Vinod Dasari in the statement.
