What if you do not need to buy a new smartphone at all? The team at Andronium has raised $2,125,186 on crowdsourcing platform Kickstarter to build the world's cheapest $99 Superbook that transforms your smartphone into a laptop.
Simply dock your Android smartphone via the USB Type-C or microUSB port to the chassis that contains a screen, keyboard, trackpad and battery.
The Superbook offers an 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 LCD panel what appears to be a full-size keyboard and a multi-touch touchpad.
There's also a built-in battery that last eight hours (that also acts as a smartphone charger), laptopmag.com reported on Monday.
Android OS has nearly 70 per cent of the world's market share and has the largest app stores with 2.2 million apps.
According to iTWire.com, the Superbook can do everything a smartphone can and if it has enough graphics, Superbook can play games too.
