A romantic dinner by the beach with waves touching the feet at Rs.20,000 per couple at the InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort or wowing your lovely partner for eight more Sundays with Courtyard by Marriott's tasty brunch at a discounted rate, are two offers among others from star hotels for Valentine's Day.
There is also the offer of massage, meals and a night stay for Rs.11,999 at Taj Club House for Valentine's Day.
But certainly what is curious and interesting is the Rs.20,000 dinner per couple at the newly opened resort property managed by InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG).
"We have earlier sold such private dining options at a price ranging between Rs.15,000-25,000. The setting and the food is great," Vijai Singh, general manager at InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, told IANS.
The spa at the resort offers three hours of digital detox and togetherness with a body polish, massage, a stimulating facial from Thalion, and a lavish Cleopatra bath, with roses and milk for Rs.15,000 plus taxes per couple.
On the other hand Courtyard by Marriott is making a different offer to vow your beloved with eight more Sunday brunches at a discount.
