AAP legislator Alka Lamba on Monday filed a complaint with Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) against BJP legislator O.P. Sharma for using "disgraceful" language against her.
"I met (DCW chief) Swati Maliwal today (Monday) and apprised her about the matter. I have filed a complaint (against Sharma) for using disgraceful language against me," the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader told IANS after filing a complaint with the DCW.
In her complaint, Lamba alleged that Sharma cast aspersions on her character and tried to malign her image.
"I saw a video of Sharma's press conference in which he is saying that I (Lamba) roam the (Delhi) roads from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. and people can understand what I do on roads in the night. This is a direct attack on my character and is an attempt to tarnish my image," she said.
"Sharma accused me of taking drugs and termed my anti-drug drive a drama," the AAP leader said.
In her complaint, she said the BJP legislator threatened her of another attack if she visited the shop again.

"(BJP legislator) Sharma threatened me that I will go home on a stretcher if spotted ever again before 'Shiv Misthan Bhandar' in that locality," she wrote.
"I request you (Maliwal)to take appropriate action against Sharma by using your powers. I am hopeful that action will be taken (on the complaint)," Lamba wrote in her complaint letter.
Confirming the plaint, the DCW chief told IANS: "We are looking into it."
Sharma allegedly said on Monday that "a woman who roams around from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. would definitely be influenced by drugs".
The BJP leader claimed that the AAP MLA along with her supporters had vandalised the sweet shop.
Meanwhile, when asked if the shop was vandalised, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay told IANS: "The sweet shop is owned by Sharma's brother and operated by his nephew. Is it a crime to operate a shop? Moreover, why did she attack those four shops in the first place? Was she targeting Sharma's shop?"
Lamba had undertaken an anti-drug drive at the Kashmere Gate area early Sunday morning. After Lamba was injured in stone-pelting, a 19-year-old employee of a sweet shop was arrested.
The AAP alleged that the attack was intentional.
