An air-conditioned bus service would be started in June between Noida and Greater Noida, an official said here on Thursday.
This bus service will be linked to all Metro Rail stations, chief secretary Alok Ranjan said at a meeting.
The AC city buses would be equipped with modern facilities like CCTV cameras, WiFi and notification for destinations along with alarm for women safety.
The chief secretary also approved a budget of Rs.2100 crore for timely completion of projects with prescribed standards and quality.
He said that out of this amount, loan aid would be provided through National Capital Region Planning Board and Noida-Greater Noida authorities would contribute through their own resources.
Ranjan said that Noida-Greater Noida Metro rail will run from Sector 71 in Noida to Delta station in Greater Noida with 21 stations on its route.
