Singer Adele, who bagged four wins at the BRIT Awards here, is the latest addition to the list of celebrities who supported Kesha.
During her acceptance speech at the awards ceremony, the "Hello" hitmaker declared that she supported the "Tik Tok" singer, who is in the midst of a legal battle against Sony and music producer Dr. Luke, the man she accused of sexual assault, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Adele, who accepted her trophy for Best British Female Solo, said: "I'd like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha. Thank you very much."
The 27-year-old singer's show of support came after she thanked her "management and my record label for embracing the fact that I'm a woman and being encouraged by it."
Besides Adele, there are two other female celebrities who showed their support for Kesha, whose request to be released from her contract with the producer was recently turned down by a judge.
Actresses Anne Hathaway and Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram to tell fans that they are on Kesha's side. Both stars also thanked Lena Dunham, who recently penned an essay about the "Crazy Kids" singer's legal battle.
