Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran L.K. Advani, who missed the office bearer's meeting Friday, may not come for the Saturday meeting either, a source close to him said.
The source claimed a call has been made to party president Rajnath Singh that Advani's health is not allowing him to attend the Saturday meeting either. The source, however, did not clarify if he may join the meeting of the executive Sunday.
The national executive is being held Saturday and Sunday.
Advani's absence from the extended office bearer's meeting here is seen as an indication of his being upset with the proposal of making Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi the chief of the party's election campaign committee.
