The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday revoked the suspension of five resident doctors over the death of a pregnant staff nurse during her surgery.
The decision came following the protest by the Resident Doctors Association (RDA) which threatened to stop work if the move was not revoked.
"AIIMS administration has considered our demands and order of suspension has been revoked with immediate effect," said RDA President Vijay Gurjar in a statement.

Rajbir Kaur, a nurse with AIIMS, died on Saturday during delivery through caesarean section.
Kaur suffered a cardiac arrest during the surgery, leading to death.
The doctors who performed the surgery were suspended.
The RDA said the doctors carried out C-section delivery because Kaur had some complications.
The RDA said that an inquiry panel had been set up under the chairmanship of faculty member and in-charge of operation theatre S.C. Sharma.
The panel is to submit its report on February 15.
