National passenger carrier Air India on Friday increased its regional connectivity by commencing flight operations to Surat and Gwalior from Mumbai.
According to the airline, both flights -- Mumbai-Surat-Mumbai and Mumbai-Gwalior-Mumbai will operate three times a week on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flights will be operated on ATR 72-600 aircraft.
"The newly launched operations will significantly boost connectivity of these two cities to Mumbai and will be a boon to fliers looking for business opportunities or leisure travel to and from Mumbai," the airline was quoted as saying in a statement.
