National carrier Air India on Monday said that it has extended its eSuperSaver scheme for economy class passengers starting with flights operating from Mumbai and Diu.
"Air India's economy class travellers will now reap the benefits of popular eSuperSaver scheme as Air India has enhanced the benefits under the scheme for its Economy Class passengers, effective November 1," the airline said in a release.
"The scheme which was originally launched for business class travellers will now offer exclusive benefits to economy class passengers and is valid on all domestic sectors in India," it added.
Applicable for travel for single users only, the eSuperSaver scheme has two variants - for travel on sectors up to 750 km distance and for travel on all domestic sectors irrespective of distance.
Each variant offers three booklets of four, eight and twelve coupons, the airline said.
In the first variant, a traveller can avail a four-coupon booklet for Rs.18,000, eight-coupon booklet for Rs.34,000 and 12-coupon booklet for Rs.48,000, and in the second, these for Rs.24,000, Rs.46,000 and Rs.66,000 respectively.
