In order to bring down the cost of internet usage for its prepaid users, Bharti Airtel has announced two internet packs, a company statement said here on Monday.

The telecom services provider is now offering a yearly plan for Rs 1,498 and a half-yearly plan for Rs 748, which provide 1GB 4G/3G data with a validity of 28 days and 1GB 4G/3G data packs at nominal prices subsequently.

"(In the yearly plan) the customer can enjoy 1GB 4G/3G recharges for just Rs 51 over a period of 12 months. There is no limit on the number of recharges during the period and higher the number of recharges the more value a customer gets," the statement said.

In the half-yearly plan, customers can enjoy 1GB 4G/3G recharges for just Rs 99 over a period of six months.

"With these innovative packs, we are redefining the value proposition on our data packs and allowing our customers to get a lot more within the same budget," said Ajai Puri, Director-Operations (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel.

These prepaid packs are live in Delhi currently and will get launched across circles by August 31, the statement added.
