UAE's Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) on Tuesday opened its Delhi-NCR office here as "a step towards its commitments to move closer to the customers in the North India region".
"Ajman Free Zone is expanding its global reach to be closer to potential overseas entrepreneurs by collaborating entities internationally and opening offices in the key markets of the Indian subcontinent, Africa and Britain," said AFZ director general Mahmood Al Hashemi after inaugurating the second office in India at Time Tower here.
He said the North India region, which is very important part of the business community of India, is the target for the office, which would bring customers closer to the advantage of having operational in the AFZ, which houses over 14,000 companies, and assist them in work related to formation of companies and related services.
AFZ's first office is already functioning in Mumbai since 2013 and Al Hashemi said it is also actively considering to open its third office in India at Chennai for potential entrepreneurs from south India.
