Serbian playmaker Aleksandar Katai expressed his happiness on Monday to be part of Spanish football club Deportivo Alaves, which was promoted for the 2016-17 La Liga season.
The 25-year-old, who joined Alaves from Red Star Belgrade, stated that his move to Spain was a big step but stressed that he has his own ambitions to prove himself, reports Efe.
Katai reiterated that La Liga is one of the world's best domestic leagues, and said he hopes one day to play for a heavy weight club, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla or Valencia.
The attacking midfielder scored six goals in 10 games with his former Serbian club, and last season he scored 23 goals overall and assisted in 10.
