Air India on Tuesday said it plans to step up regional connectivity by inducting more aircraft in its subsidiary Alliance Air.
According to the company's chairman and managing director Ashwani Lohani, Air India is inducting aircraft into its regional subsidiary Alliance Air, which will have a fleet of 35 planes by 2017.
Lohani was speaking at the induction ceremony of new cabin crew for Alliance Air.
The company's regional airline operates turbo-prop ATRs and regional jet CRJ aircraft.
