World's largest e-commerce and cloud computing major Amazon on Friday announced an integrated payment gateway and logistics for Indian e-retailers.
"The integrated offering will enable e-retailers to use our gateway for order payments and logistics to deliver goods," Amazon's Indian arm said in a statement here.
The combined facility will help e-retailers to focus on their core business as Amazon India will take care of their payments and delivery mechanism.
"Our B-2-B offering allows businesses to scale and grow at low operational cost by leveraging on our investments in payments, logistics, transportation and customer service," Amazon India manager Amit Agarwal said.
The integrated offering allows businesses to scale and grow their business at low operational costs by leverage on Amazon's investments in payments, logistics, transportation and customer service.
Instead of having separate or own accounts and maintain them, retailers can ask their buyers to use Amazon account and get their products delivered using its logistics network and save on overheads.
