Actress Amy Schumer says her TV show "Inside Amy Schumer" is finished despite it being renewed for a fifth season.
"I am so saddened and disappointed in Kurt Metzger. He is my friend and a great writer and I couldn't be more against his recent actions," Schumer tweeted, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Kurt does not work for me. He is not a writer on my show. Please stop asking me about it. His words are not mine.
"I didn't fire Kurt. He isn't a writer for my show because we aren't making the show anymore. There are no writers for it," she added in the post.
The "Price Check" star also retweeted a fan's post which read: "You're the best, and we'll miss your show. And Twitter sucks sometimes."
Her comments come after Metzger accused rape victims who don't report their assaults to police as "weak" and of "talking nonsense", as he defended fellow comedian Aaron Glaser, who has been accused of sexual assault.

Meanwhile, Schumer's comments about the show being over come as a surprise as in January she shared that it had been picked up for a fifth season.
"IAS season 5 got picked up!," Schumer had posted.
However, following the success of her movie "Trainwreck", Schumer has been building a successful film career and has two new releases "Thank You For Your Service" and "Mother/Daughter" in the pipeline.
