Actress Angela Bassett is launching a skincare line for people with a darker skin tone.
The "American Horror Story" actress, 57, is collaborating with her dermatologist and friend Barbara Sturm on a range of skincare products called Darker Skin Tones, reports people.com.
On Instagram, Sturm called the line "a joint venture" with Bassett, who came to Sturm two years ago with complaints of breakouts and irritations.
"Our premise was simple: less is more. We wanted fewer ingredients, as little preservative as possible to maintain stability, and no harmful ingredients whatsoever (that could irritate skin that is already prone to inflammation)," Sturm posted on the photo-sharing website.
The line will launch with five products: a face cream, a rich face cream (for extremely dry skin or as an overnight treatment), an enzyme cleanser, a foaming cleanser and a hyaluronic serum.
