Barely within days of the son of a Bihar minister having been admitted to a hospital after he was allegedly ragged in a school in Madhya Pradesh, another parent Thursday alleged a similar incident at the same school.

Atul Agarwal, father of a class eight student at Scindia School in Gwalior, told a television channel that his son was severely ragged by his seniors.

Madhya Pradesh Education Minister Deepka Joshi said the incident was "serious" and required precautionary measures to be taken.

Taking note of the matter, union Ministry of Human Resource Development in New Delhi has sought a report from the regional Central Board of Secondary Education.

Bihar's Cooperatives Minister Jai Kumar Singh Aug 22 alleged that his son was a victim of ragging in the school. Singh's 14-year-old son was admitted to a south Delhi hospital in critical condition.
