A court here on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to former Intelligent Communication System India Ltd Managing Director A.K. Duggal in a corruption case filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's former Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar.

Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) Special Judge Arvind Kumar granted bail to Duggal and asked him to furnish a personal bond and surety of Rs 1 lakh.

Rajendra Kumar, arrested on July 4 on charge of involvement in corruption, was granted bail by the court on July 26. He has denied the charges hurled against him.

Rajendra Kumar, a 1989-batch IAS officer, was accused of abusing his official position in awarding Delhi government contracts totalling Rs 9.5 crore to private firm Endeavour Systems Pvt Ltd.
