"Gulaabo" hitmaker Anusha Mani will release her first non-film song titled "Savera" on Friday.
"'Savera' came about as a result of jamming casually with composer Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur. I wanted to release a song that people could connect with and that which would portray my style of singing and music. That's exactly what happened while making the song. Being my first single, the song means a lot to me, and I am starring in the video too," Mani said in a statement.
"After a lot of thinking we decided to name the song 'Savera'. Difficult times will lead to better days, which is depicted in my video as well. I want to explore all genres in music and this song is a step towards that," she added.
Mani is known for Bollywood songs like "Tera rastaa chhodoon na" ("Chennai Express"), "Lehrein" ("Aisha") and "Lazy lamhein" ("Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic".
