Singer Armaan Malik and his brother and composer Amaal Mallik feel honoured to judge a radio singing reality show titled "The Big Golden Awards".
Amaal said: "I'm very excited as it's the first time Armaan and I are judging a show together, and people do not usually become judges at such a young age, so it's an honour."
"I liked the idea of radio reality show as here, only the singing talent of the singers is considered and doesn't look for 'X-factor' like other reality shows," he added.
Amaal, who has composed music for films like "Airlift" and "Kapoor & Sons", found it difficult to sit on the judge's chair.
"It's difficult to judge a show. Apart from 'sur-taal', feel is the most important thing," he said.
Armaan shared that elimination from a show doesn't mean that he is eliminated from his or her singing life. "I too was eliminated from a show, but I kept on singing."

Amaal, who is inspired by renowned composers A.R. Rahman and Pritam, added that singers should take motivation from the singing sensation Arijit Singh, who was once eliminated from a reality show.
