Arsenal rench coach Arsene Wenger has denied that the English Premier League club is interested in signing Juventus' Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, noting that the Gunners have very good midfielders.
"We have good midfielders, and at the moment we are not looking at Arturo Vidal," Wenger was quoted as saying by Efe on Monday.
Arsenal, who won the FA Cup on Saturday after beating Aston Villa 4-0 in the final, have plenty of players at their midfield disposal, including Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin, Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Abou Diaby.
Wenger also indicated that the club would likely not make any big deals during next summer's transfer window due for "financial reasons".
"I do not want to tell you how much money we have, but I have not made a clear decision yet for what I will do," Wenger said.
"Don't rule anything out and I will not tell you as well how much money we will spend. But I'm always more focused on quality. I am not against spending money. I have shown that recently," the coach explained.
