Hinduja Group company Ashok Leyland on Thursday said its standalone net profit for the third quarter of 2015-16 rose by a whopping 518.94 percent at Rs.198.62 crore as against Rs.32.09 crore in same period of 2014-15.
According to the statement of unaudited financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Ashok Leyland earned a total income of Rs.4,085.34 crore in the quarter under review against Rs.3,360.99 crore earned in the year ago quarter.
The company incurred total expenses of Rs.3,764.32 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs.3,220.64 crore in the like quarter of 2014-15.
