Magurmari High School, Kokrajhar, Assam scripted the biggest upset of the tournament so far with a well deserved 4-1 victory over hot favourites Troeschina of Kiev, Ukraine to enter the U-17 Boys' semifinals of the 54th Subroto Cup here Tuesday.

Devide Basumatary (35th), Inngbla Brahma (40th min), Kapil Kumar Ray (47th min) and Josef Ekka (70th min) scored for Assam. Maxim Koshelev (45th min) reduced the margin for Ukraine.

Ukraine custodian Magdenko Dmutro was sent during first half injury time for a foul on Assam's Thanil Singh.

Assam dominated the second half as well, and the ball hardly ever left the Ukraine half of the field.

In the girls section, riding on a hat-trick by from their striker Nisha, Government Senior Secondary School, Fatehabad, Haryana entered the Girls's final of the 54th Subroto Cup by defeating Tyssad School, Shillong, Meghalaya 4-0.
