Atletico Madrid on Tuesday announced that Diego Costa did not take part in the training session after suffering a foot injury.
Costa, 30, is to follow a different training approach after sustaining his injury in Saturday's 3-2 La Liga win over Athletic Bilbao, the match which marked Costa's return after missing Leganes and Dortmund's games due to a muscle injury, reports Efe.
"Diego Costa has suffered a bruised foot," the La Liga side said in an official statement on the team website, adding that: "The Atleti striker is to follow an alternative training programme, receive medical treatment and physiotherapy."
The Los Rojiblancos currently have five injured players -- the four defenders Diego Godin and Jose Maria Gimenez of Uruguay, Montenegrin Stefan Savic and Frenchman Lucas Hernandez along with Costa.
Atletico is next set to clash with Barcelona on November 24.
