Australia is exploring collaboration with the Gujarat-based Amul-Dudhsagar cooperative in the field of dairying and dairy education and research, the Mehsana District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union said in a release Tuesday.
An Australian delegation led by Senator Richard Colbeck, parliamentary secretary to the country's minister for agriculture, visited Dudhmansagar Dairy in Manesar (Haryana) Sunday, where they were given an overview of the cooperative dairy movement in India, the release added.
The delegation is due to visit Dudhsagar Dairy, Mehsana, Friday, when it will explore the possibilities of mutual business for dairy production building projects, productivity enhancement programmes and education, the statement said.
