Abu Dhabi, May 12 (IANS/WAM) The UAE's ministry of foreign affairs has advised Emirati citizens not to travel to Lebanon due to the current situation in the region.
"If necessary, holders of diplomatic and special passports planning to travel to Lebanon should obtain prior permits from the ministry and should coordinate with it before departure," a ministry statement said.
As for holders of normal passports, the ministry asked them to sign a pledge at the airport to take full responsibility when they travel to Lebanon.
