Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Friday met senior JD-U leader Sharad Yadav, who is "unhappy" with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's decision to ally with BJP.
The meeting came after Nitish Kumar won the trust vote in Bihar assembly on Friday.
Sources said that Sharad Yadav is "unhappy" with Nitish Kumar's decision. He has also conveyed to some of the party leaders who met him that he was not taken into confidence about the move to rejoin hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Sources said that there is a possibility of Sharad Yadav making a public statement in the next few days.
Nitish Kumar on Friday had a smooth sail in the confidence vote in the Bihar assembly after he attacked his former ally RJD, saying secularism cannot be used as cover-up for corruption.
