Two and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto on Friday reported a rise of 46 per cent in total sales, including exports, for January 2018.
According to the company, its total sales during the month rose to 353,147 units from 241,917 units sold during the corresponding month of 2017.
Bajaj Auto's total domestic sales stood at 202,193 units -- up 50 per cent -- from 135,188 units sold in January last year.
Similarly, its overall exports edged higher. It rose by 41 per cent to 150,954 units from 1,06,729 units during January 2017.
The total motorcycle sales grew by 36 per cent to 288,936 units from 211,824 units.
In addition, the overall commercial vehicle sales surged by 113 per cent to 64,211 units from 30,093 units sold during January 2017.
