At least 22 people were killed when a ferry, carrying between 250 to 300 passengers, capsized in a river in Bangladesh Thursday, police said Friday.
Divers dragged 10 more bodies from inside the sunken ferry, as the ferry was pulled on to the river bank by a salvage ship, Xinhua reported.
The ferry, Mirage-4, departed from Bangladesh's capital Dhaka for southern Shariatpur district and sank due to a storm Thursday.
A fire service officer said the ferry Mirage-4 has experienced accidents twice in the past.
