Barcelona right back Douglas Pereira dos Santos will sit out the rest of the pre-season after he sustained an injury in the team's last friendly against English football club Chelsea.
Fifteen minutes into the game held here on Tuesday for the International Champions Cup, Douglas was substituted with a hamstring injury. According to Barcelona, he will be away from the field for eight weeks, reports Efe.
The injury comes as a real blow to the career of the Brazilian, who will turn 25 next week, as he was actually given some minutes over the summer after rarely being put in last season.
