Spanish football giants Barcelona players Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Gerard Pique and Arda Turan are set to participate in the presentation of the global partnership deal with Rakuten in Japan on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Catalan club announced on Tuesday on its official website that Barcelona's Vice President for marketing and communication, Manel Arroyo, will also take part in this series of promotional events in the Asian country, reports Efe.
The main event will be the presentation of the four-year agreement with Rakuten, one of the main internet service companies worldwide, founded in Japan in 1997.
These events will be the first public appearance of the players with the new sponsor's shirt, as the Rakuten logo has replaced Qatar Airways under a deal worth about 55 million euros ($62.5 million) a season.
Barcelona's representatives are set to travel back on Thursday so that players can join the pre-season training under new coach Ernesto Valverde.
