Right-back Antonio Barragan will no longer train with Valencia as he is closing a deal with English football club Middlesbrough.
Following the agreement between the two clubs on Wednesday, the Spaniard travelled on Thursday to England for a medical examination in order to officially join the team, led by Spaniard Aitor Karanka.
The 29-year-old leaves Valencia after five seasons. He arrived in 2011 from Real Valladolid, reports Efe.
