German football club Bayern Munich will have to do it without Rafinha, who has suffered an ankle injury.
Brazilian defender Marcio Rafael Ferreira de Souza, known as Rafinha, would be sidelined until further notice, Bayern announced in a statement Sunday, reports Xinhua.
Rafinha suffered a torn ligament in his left ankle, an examination revealed Sunday. The defender twisted his left ankle during a training session Saturday.
"I am obviously very disappointed. I had made good preparations and now this. I am very, very sad," Rafinha told the club's official homepage.
