BJP's West Bengal chief Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday issued an apology for his remarks on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
"I never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. If our honourable Chief Minister felt insulted by my comments, I have no problems in apologisng to her," Ghosh said at a press conference.
Ghosh, known for shooting off his mouth, has over the past few days made a series of controversial comments about Banerjee, who has emerged as one of the most vocal opponents of demonetisation.
The Trinamool Congress has slammed Ghosh for making "deeply dangerous" and "abusive" personal remarks about Banerjee.
