Providing relief to government work halted in view of assembly polls in the state, the Election Commission on Wednesday said West Bengal ministers can now review programmes in districts and headquarters ahead of the election results on May 19.
"Ministers can review programmes with officers in both headquarters and districts. Only officers associated with polls will not attend," a poll panel official here said.
The breather is for Bengal at the moment as the staggered six-phase polls that began on April 4 concluded on May 5.
The poll code was in operation in the state in view of the assembly elections.
