The 20th edition of Bharat Rang Mahotsav, international theatre festival, organised by the National School of Drama (NSD), concluded after staging plays in several Indian languages, along with nine folk and 15 foreign plays, here on Thursday.
At the closing ceremony of 21-day event at Kamani Auditorium renowned Kathak maestro Birju Maharaj was the Chief Guest and Arun Goel, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, was the Guest of Honour.
The closing ceremony was followed by "Dhumrapaan," a bilingual play directed by Akarsh Khurana and performed by the group "D for Drama" from Mumbai.

Suresh Sharma, Director in-charge of NSD, said around 2,000 young theatre enthusiasts from different colleges in and around Delhi participated in this year's festival. He also welcomed suggestions for improving the coming editions of the annual event.
