BioAsia 2015 Monday announced the Healthcare Devthon in Hyderabad with a focus on idea validation, design and rapid prototyping of technologies and solutions relevant to the life sciences and healthcare sector with the winners to get seed fund grant of Rs.2 lakh.
The event will be organized during with the support of Hyderabad Software Exporters' Association (HYSEA), the healthcare innovation cell, the union health and family welfare ministry, the Telangana government, D-Labs incubator (ISB), Apollo Research and Innovation, Kamineni Life Sciences, Technology Business Incubator@ BITSA Pilani Hyderabad and Hyderabad Hackers.
The event will address the challenges in healthcare sector and discover solutions that can create an impact on end consumers. The Devthon will bring in healthcare experts, data scientists, researchers, engineers on a single platform to facilitate the development.
The best prototypes selected by the experts will be showcased at BioAsia 2015, the annual international life sciences scheduled here Feb 2-4.
The Healthcare Devthon will take place in four phases. Three of them will be held during January.
