Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh on Friday claimed that "a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and minister are involved in a medical college scam".
The AAP leader said the BJP leader and the minister are involved in the scam with four persons -- who were remanded by a CBI court last week for trying to overturn the ban on a medical college in Haryana.
Presenting a copy of the FIR (First Information Report), Ashutosh said the four persons were arrested on August 3 from Ghaziabad.
Reading out from the FIR, the AAP leader said the arrested persons were working on behalf of World College of Medical Sciences and Research and Hospital, Jhajjhar, Haryana to overturn a ban on the college for non-fulfilment of required criteria.
Quoting the FIR, Ashutosh said: "The above-mentioned persons have been trying to get the orders of debarment overturned through the ministry (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare). In this regard (they) have been contacting various persons who have assured them of helping them in this regard, in lieu of huge illegal gratification for the concerned unknown public servants."
Ashutosh said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court has filed the FIR against the four persons and other unknown public servants and private persons.

The AAP leader said "this is proof that there has been corruption in the Narendra Modi-led government which has been claiming that there has been no corruption in its three-year rule".
"Sources also told that the agreed illegal gratification is likely to be delivered to a for influencing and inducing senior functionaries of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by corrupt or illegal means through their contacts," he read from the FIR.
Ashutosh also posted 13 questions for the BJP and central government on the issue.
He said though there is a Supreme Court order that all CBI FIRs should be uploaded in the website, this FIR was only uploaded five days after a media outlet ran a story on the arrest.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh said "though Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call for Quit Corruption movement, just like they didn't take part in Quit India movement, they have nothing to do with Quit Corruption movement too".
