The BJP might get a majority in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections by winning 37 seats in the 70-member house, an opinion poll suggested Wednesday.
The opinion poll, conducted by India TV-CVoter, said there would be no change in the Aam Aadmi Party's tally which got 28 seats in the 2013 assembly polls while the Congress' seats would go down from 8 to 5.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) bagged 31 seats while its ally Shiromani Akali Dal won one seat in the last assembly elections.
In the vote share projections, the survey said the BJP might get 45 percent votes, closely followed by the AAP with 40 percent and the Congress with 10 percent.
Delhi goes to the polls Feb 7 and ballots would be counted Feb 10.
