BJP MP Sanwar Lal Jat, who went into a coma after a cardiac arrest on Saturday, was on Thursday shifted to the AIIMS here in a semi-conscious condition, hospital authorities said.
Admitted to the neurology department, Jat will be shifted to a special room in the hospital's Cardio Thoracic Neuro Sciences Centre.
"The MP was brought here around 3.30 p.m. He is in a semi-conscious state right now," said a hospital official.
The 62-year-old MP from Ajmer in Rajasthan, who has been a union minister, was treated earlier at the Jaipur-based SMS Hospital and was brought to Delhi by an air ambulance.
